Part of our fruity collection, the Pattern Papaya.
One of the most challenging parts of this new mini collection was the opening for our Pattern Papaya bag. We wanted the opening to be unusual and integrated into the design. For this reason we explored with different shapes and designed a lid made out of the seeds element in our Papaya. Papayas are a very popular fruit in El Salvador and we wanted to make a fun and graphic interpretation to it, a Martania Papaya, the seeds are in a pattern in black and white creating a texture that becomes the opening to our bag. The lid reveals the inside of the bag in printed fabric in black and white. The magnets with which it closes are integrated into the seeds, there was a lot of exploration to come to this finished product and we're so excited to be finally releasing this product.
